And thirdly…

I follow a fair number of learning technolgy blogs and have finally sucumbed to the temptation to add my voice to the throng. I hope you find it interesting and informative.

The really tricky bit was finding a suitable name – I wanted to start with TEL for Technology Enhanced Learning (e-learning is just soooo last-millenium, don’t you know) and after several tries (e.g. telstar, telos) stumbled on telic, which means ‘purposeful or defined action’ in Greek (well, at least it does according to Wikipedia).

I was aiming for something akin to Teleology (Greek: telos: end, purpose): the philosophical study of design and purpose. A teleological school of thought is one that holds all things to be designed for or directed toward a final result, that there is an inherent purpose or final cause for all that exists”.
