Yesterday saw the launch of the Open Educational Resources programme by JISC and the HEA, which aims to make a large amount of educational resources freely available online under Creative Commons licences. Southampton’s involvement is through our HEA subject centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies (LLAS) which is collaborating with several other humanities subject centres to make resources avilable through the HumBox repository.

HumBox is an extension of their work with Electronics and Computer Science on the innovative Faroes and Language Box repositories – themselves extensions of ePrints.
